NEW HERBAL MEDICINE WORKSHOPS 2012!!

Non Owen

I am an Medical Herbalist with 15 years experience in seeing patients of all ages, from infants to the elderly and those with chronic health problems. I see people who may be receiving treatment from their doctor and only prescribe herbs which do not adversely interact with other medication.

If appropriate, and with the patient’s consent, GPs or consultants are kept fully informed of the herbal treatment.

I have a particular interest in treating digestive problems, women’s health problems, stress, anxiety. immune problems, including lowered immunity, allergies, chronic fatigue and autoimmune conditions.

I work with patients to help raise awareness of their own health and wellbeing. I find plant medicines a powerful tool to change poor health. I believe in using simple plant medicines with a strong traditional usage, and try to use native plants where possible.

I practice in at two multidisciplinary practices in North Wales, based at Ruthin and Flint. I also see patients locally at my dispensary in Clawddnewydd, near Ruthin.
